Spice Jar:
5" tall to nob tip, 5" wide, ~.75lb.
This spice jar is wheel thrown stoneware fitted with a lid. The interior is lined with food safe glaze made from wood ash. The exterior is covered with a flashing slip that reacts with the soda fire atmosphere at 2250 degrees F. recording the flame’s movement in the kiln. Non-glassy textures are sanded with fine grit diamond pads post firing giving a luscious texture to the matt clay surface.
Microwave + dishwasher safe stoneware, but hand washing is recommended. 100% Non-Toxic.
